@coyle_tim I wonder if @HolbrookLN have done work comparing lime from different sources @coyle_tim. They have been doing a power of liming trials over the years, but unsure if product selection was part of that work. Would be worth looking into.

@freshy1973 Most farmers I know have a hate hate relationship with elec fencing. In my opinion it’s 100% how it is set up initially. If done correctly it will be your best friend whether it’s used on sheep, cattle, pigs ect ect ect
@freshy1973 Speedrite portable solar unit. Once let out cattle mostly live behind single hot wire held up by Gallagher tread ins which are used to sub divide larger paddocks. Hardest part then is getting cattle to move mast where the hot wire once was to move to next grazing area.
@freshy1973 Couldn’t agree more re electricity training @freshy1973 . We trade cattle, and have traded some very disrespectful ones at that. Protocol now when arriving is to spend 3-4 days on a dam that is fenced on 4 sides. 7 plain wire fence, 1 of the 7 being hot. Electricity generated by
