The Buduruwagala archaeological site is a stunning example of #SriLankaโs rich cultural heritage. The Buddha statues are believed to date back to the 7th and 8th Centuries. I was lucky enough to assist the team from the Dept of Archaeology in their restoration work.
Cyclone Ditwah has caused severe flooding and landslides across Sri Lanka, affecting 2 million people.ย โจโจIโve allocated $4.5 million from @UNCERF to help partners reach the most affected people with cash for food, clean water and shelter.
