We all have agency here. We all have the ability to choose our words carefully even as we forcefully defend our beliefs. We all have the capacity for grace. We don't have to make things worse.

- The break-in to kidnap Nancy Pelosi and the brutal on Paul Pelosi
- Multiple assassination attempts against Trump
- The assassination of Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband and the shooting of on State Senator John Hoffman and his wife
- Luigi Mangione's assassination of Brian Thompson
- The assassination of Charlie Kirk

Political violence is contagious. It is spreading. It is not confined to one side or belief system. It should terrify us all.

The foundation of a free society is the ability to participate in it without fear of violence. Political violence is always an attack against us all. You have to be so blind not to see that.

Conversation or violence. That’s the ultimate choice. You can’t have both. Anyone who celebrates violence has no fucking idea what it’s like to live in real political disorder and their ignorance is a luxury of having lived a privileged life in a stable society.

I am proud of the City’s quick response to this horrific natural disaster. West Palm Beach fared well considering the devastation of property and loss of life that occurred in neighboring municipalities.”

This bill will leave children with fewer resources in their already underfunded classrooms and fewer teachers and staff to meet their needs. Sending tax dollars to unaccountable, corporate-run private schools is just wrong. 2 of 3

Manuel and Patricia Oliver were just kicked out of this committee hearing on gun violence. Patricia said one thing and the chair escalated the entire situation. Then, Police arrested Manuel Oliver who lost his son in the Parkland shooting.

His son was shot to death.
