@RyanLEllis @jdflynn Have you paid any attention to Nebraska the past year? If so, you’d know the work undertaken the last year to be a first in the nation to defeat the abortion industry’s ballot efforts. It’s possible to stick to core issues & talk about lots of other important issues.

@RyanLEllis @jdflynn Just because Catholics can disagree prudentially doesn’t mean Bishops can’t take a position or speak on an issue. Every public policy matter they take positions on (incl. right to life issues) are prudential judgments. On your logic, they should take no public policy positions.
