Thank you to the travelling support today , clearly a very disappointing result at the the end of an underwhelming season, despite some great moments in the champions league and other domestic cups we have not lived up to where we should and need to be.
All of us from ownership down to the coaching staff and players will work tirelessly over the summer to advance our project ,come back stronger and start the new season in the best way possible
To all our supporters, staff everyone associated with @NUFC thank you for your support.
what an honour🙏🏼 an amazing day and a very proud moment for me and my family. not that long ago I was playing in the academy and local pub leagues so to now have an mbe is crazy. wouldn’t be here without all the support of my family, sponsors and all of you so thank you it means a lot❤️
Love or hate Gordon or maybe in-between, but not getting a single minute despite being fit is a bit weird. He has been a key player for us over the last 2-3 years. Do we think it's Gordon not wanting to risk an injury, or perhaps a rift between him and Eddie?

⚫️⚪️ Kieran Trippier tells @SkySportsNews the Newcastle players deserve to be booed by their fans:
🗣️ “We know it’s been a rough time for us recently. But it’s my responsibility as a senior player to try take the criticism away from the younger players. The manager has given us clear game plans but it’s up to us to start executing it. We need to get wins - and fast.
🗣️ “As players you can’t think like that (whoever will be here next season). Whatever happens at the end of the season happens, but I’m not thinking like that. Players should not be thinking like that, things will take care of themselves if players leave. I’m not seeing that amongst my teammates, what I see is a group low in confidence maybe. But what an opportunity to go to Arsenal and win.
🗣️”Yeah it hurts. We know we aren’t putting in the performances that the fans demand. We hear the boos we deserve them. Nine defeats at home is unacceptable. All I can say is there’s five games left and we need to start winning.”

🚨 Anthony Gordon has NOT told Newcastle United he wants to leave — but there IS an expectation from the club that the forward would be keen on a move away from the club this summer.
🇩🇪 👀 Sky Sports News can exclusively reveal that Bayern Munich have been tracking Gordon since the turn of the year.
🤔 None of Gordon/Tonali/Livramento have asked to leave, but there is a general understanding that one or two of the trio may leave this summer.
