Another fantastic weekend of #CommunityEngagement this weekend we have been at Newport Village Hall and @BurnbyGardens. Our Summer season has now come to a close. We now look towards our #Proms concerts.
For those who haven’t seen our posts over on Facebook, this week has been #VolunteersWeek. We’ve been saying thanks to all of our band members. Without them we wouldn’t exist.
Are you looking to get back into playing or just fancy a change? You might be the right fit for us. We have seats waiting to be filled in various sections; Corps of Drums, Trombone, Trumpets and Euphonium to name but a few. If you are interested, please message for more details.
That’s a wrap on 2024. Thank you to all that turned out to our Charity Christmas Concert for North East Yorks Rbl fantastic to see so many people at All Saints' Church, Hessle, East Yorkshire
We now look forward to some downtime, over this festive period.
What a fantastic turnout for today's Remembrance Day service in Hull City Centre. The Band and Corps of Drums were out today, leading the parade from Queen Victoria Square to the Cenotaph.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning. We will remember them.
What a fantastic afternoon at the #FloralHall in #Hornsea for the Last Afternoon of the Proms. Fear not, normal service should be resumed in 2025 for the Saturday evening. Thank you to @hornsearotary for organising as always. A fitting tribute to the late Keith Twigg BEM.
Today marks the first real display of our Corps of Drums, something which we have been trying to get off the groups for while now. We are in the early stages but don't they sound great, especially on the new drums. We hope to be in a position to take separate bookings for 2025.
An early start today, to lead the @Hullccnews Civic procession from the Guildhall to @HullMinster for the Sea, Field and Factory Service. You may also notice our rather nice, new side and bass drums... More to follow soon. @ERLieutenancy@erhighsheriff@HP_CSU @ACC_TMc
.....and the playing goes on. Tonight the sax quartet were back at Melton 2, entertaining the recipients 20, 30 and 40 year Long Service Awards, and their guests. @ACC_TMc @HP_CSU@Humberbeat@HumbersidePCC
Today we were in Grimsby, supporting Cromwell Road Police Station at Nee Naw Day. These are rare photographs of a dry band just before the heavens opened We did our best but eventually the rain sadly beat us and the public. Such a shame! @ACC_TMc @RRT_UK@HP_CSU@HumberbeatNEL
