MK Dons are in advanced talks to sign Stevenage defender Charlie Goode on a free. Goode is out of contract at Stevenage this month and although he has been offered a new deal, League One new boys MK Dons are close to agreeing a deal for the centre-back. #MKDons#StevenageFC
@Simon_Monty Certainly harder working and a more cohesive team.
Would have to argue we have some technically better plays now though.
If the current team had the same cohesiveness and work rate as that team, I think we'd have had a different outcome in the playoffs tbh.
Always a shame to see young players released but these five can still have a career in the game. For now though, some very lucky non-league teams are going to pick them up.
We would like to thank Frankie, Riley, Oliver, Louie, and Tatenda for their dedication, professionalism, and contribution during their time at the club.
Their hard work, commitment, and positive attitude both on and off the pitch have been greatly appreciated by everyone involved.
We wish them every success in the next chapter of their journeys.
Remember watching this in my uni room at the time ,crazy that was 10 years ago!
Always liked Hibs and with David Gray being a former Boro player was great to see.
An Independent Disciplinary Commission has today expelled Southampton from the Sky Bet Championship Play-Offs after the Club admitted to multiple breaches of EFL Regulations related to the unauthorised filming of other Clubs’ training.
In addition, the Club has received a four-point deduction that will be applied to the 2026/27 Championship table.
The effect of today’s order is that Middlesbrough are reinstated into the 2026 Play-Offs and will proceed to the Play-Off Final against Hull City. The final remains scheduled for Saturday 23 May, with the kick-off time to be confirmed.

Many people forget just how consistently brilliant he was for us before his injury, because he had a few dodgy games afterwards, then never regularly played again.
In his 67 matches for us in the EFL he kept 29 clean sheets and conceded just 62 goals, making many stunning saves.
Not too many surprises here, personally I'd have maybe kept Sweens given Goode might be off.
I hope we put out something dedicated to him, been a big player for us over the years at both ends of the pitch and perhaps deserves more plaudits than he gets.
