If you're going to apply the rules strictly: yes, Sam Ward's second goal shouldn't count.

But then again, if you're applying the rules strictly: Maurits Visser moved too early on the second Penalty Stroke.

Alternatively, Sam Ward's second goal was absolutely fine. It just was.

This VAR is attrocious, what's going on

Regardless of who ends up the winner, shoot-outs are the worst way of ending a (semi-)final. Just play on until there's a goal

South Korea eliminating Argentina is weird in that I'm shocked, and yet, equally not surprised

[Tomahawk Hockey - Norman @TomahawkHCKY]

What do you expect when you let players like Menini and Peillat go, they change their nationality, and you've not properly prepared the next crop of players coming through... 🤦

Korea overcome a 2 goal deficit to tie the scores in the final 10 minutes and stun Argentina in the shoot-outs to qualify for the quarterfinals! #HWC2023

Blake Govers is the best all-round finisher and has the best instinct / flair we have ever seen. Doesn't mean he's the best forward or best player ever, but he'd be in the best 11 in any team at any point in history.

I won't hear otherwise.

[Tomahawk Hockey - Norman @TomahawkHCKY]

"Nevertheless, in the spirit of competition and of a true showcase of best against best, having three qualifying places per pool is objectively and unequivocally not the way forward."

As always, sharing is always appreciated. Hope everyone is enjoying the games!

Unfortunately, no game analyses as I don't have permission to use game footage.. Quite annoying

Could not access my YT account because I had a strike as I posted an analysis video from a game that aired on free TV. I don't make any money from posting analyses, I just do it for fun. Got me a three month ban 🤷‍♂️

Would be great if I could analyse some Belgian league games next year 😏👀

HGC look like they're on the brink of something great. Keep the core together & add 1 big impact player, and I could easily see them win Hoofdklasse next season. It's been a fun final!

Alan Forsyth opens the scoring in the Dutch playoffs final, but Danny Kerry thought he wasn't good enough to crack a mediocre British Olympic team.

Yes, I'll continue bringing this up as long as Forsyth is playing hockey.

Royal Leopold has been penalised for paying and playing players with tourists visas. The sanctions:

- Men's team: Instead of playing in the play-offs -in a season where Tom Boon scored 40+ goals- they're in the relegation play-off.
- Women's team: Relegated.

Harsh, but correct.

RW Köln vs Kampong seems like the perfect EHL game for someone to analyse and break down on YouTube 🤔
