✍️ Sign my petition to fix NHS dentistry in Plymouth, which I will present in the House of Commons: https://t.co/EG0pksbVOb
The Conservatives have left thousands of people in Plymouth on an NHS dentistry waiting list.
I welcome measures by the new Government to improve access to NHS dentistry. Please sign my petition to help me keep NHS dentistry in Plymouth on the political agenda.
It's my Birthday and traditionally I ask for a retweet to get my account out there
I'm Siobhan, I'm an NHS nurse and trade unionist who has been actively campaigning on NHS pay and against privatisation since 2020. Nurse for a decade.
If that's for you, please give me a follow 😊 and even better a 🔄 too
The New Labour Government has already delivered on 7 Manifesto Promises. That's far more already than Tories delivered from 2019-2024 (2).
Like them or don't like them, they were elected on a Manifesto and it's getting done.
Perfect? No. Better? Much.
Deal with it.
The longest sentence handed down to a violent racist rioter this week is shorter than the sentences imposed on entirely peaceful environmental protesters last month.
Labour must repeal the Tory laws that treat peaceful protest more severely than violent disorder and assault.
The wife of a Tory councillor posted: “Mass deportation now, set fire to all the f* hotels full of the b** for all I care.”
Her husband said: “She’s a good person and she’s not racist.”
Funny how these not racist people say the most racist things. https://t.co/nvAMOhhegW
Two months in prison for the thug rioter who smashed the windows out of a police car. While the Just Stop Oil protesters get 4 and 5 YEARS for a peaceful protest. WTF 🤷
Lucy Connolly wants to see migrants burnt alive.
Lucy Connolly is a registered childminder with children of all races and ethnicity in her care.
Lucy Connolly is also the wife of a Conservative Party elected official.
The media and political class is complicit in the far right, racist and Islamophobic violence we’re seeing across our country.
This morning, I experienced the visceral denial of this reality.
Nigel farage wants you to think that Britain has an immigration problem.
It doesn't.
Britain had a problem with millionaires hoarding wealth, egged on by politicians and the press.
Britain has a problem with racism.
Britain has a @Nigel_Farage problem.
RT if you agree.
Well said Tudor. Plymouth will stand united against hate and those who seek to divide our community.
Be in no doubt: those who participate in any violence will face the full force of the law.
THANK YOU, PLYMOUTH. A month ago today, I was elected as your MP.
It's the honour of my life, and I will fight to earn and keep your trust regardless of whether you voted for me or not.
Here's a few ways I've been working to serve Plymouth Moor View, my home, since I was sworn in as your Member of Parliament:
👉 Held my first advice surgery in Crownhill.
👉 Visited Derriford, and wrote to the Health Secretary to seek assurances on the new emergency department there.
👉 Met with local groups to hear their thoughts, from Scouts to the Fire Brigade.
👉 Asked my first question to the Prime Minister, on the importance of defence to Plymouth.
👉 Played in Janner Aid to support the fantastic Plymouth Football Boot Bank
👉 Voted for the renationalisation of our railways so they better serve passengers.
👉 Secured a commitment from Plymouth City Council that they would not roll out 20mph zones in our patch without full consultation prior.
👉 Wrote to South West Water CEO Susan Davy to seek an urgent meeting on sewage, water quality and water bills.
If you live in Plymouth Moor View and would like to get in touch with a problem or concern, please email me at [email protected]
@KindCoolKillers @UKLabour That's fair, my friend. I don't disagree, but I think there's a fine line between unity and authoritarian action (a final warning or a brief sanction may have been sufficient?)
Let's just hope we haven't replaced an anti-semitism problem with an islamophobia one. Time will tell.
Twenty days.
It took just twenty days before I first started to feel just a little queasy about the Labour victory that I supported.
Not a great feeling, tbh.
