I’m beyond excited for Mike Seavers to succeed me as CTO at Yuga Labs. I have complete confidence in Mike and believe he is the right person to scale the Yuga engineering org to deliver on our ever-growing ambitions as a company. It has been an immense privilege to watch Yuga grow from the four person team that it once was into the Web3 juggernaut that it is today, and I cannot wait to see where we go from here 🍅
.@yugalabs has tapped Mike Seavers, former EVP of development at @EpicGames, as CTO to help lead its growth strategy. @BrandyBetz reports.

Felt the need to set the record straight on all this bullshit once and for all. I’ll be off Twitter for a while to focus on my heart condition. Love you all. ❤️

It hasn’t affected us. We never used https://t.co/O2Im4zSXkx though some of our partners did. We had some money on https://t.co/VAZ9TQbSFB but we moved it out earlier in the week. Heart goes out to anyone who has been hurt by this insanity.
We’re excited to announce https://t.co/aaZwoLevte. This is the new home for all official press releases, blogs, events, and drops. Follow the thread below for a breakdown of the site's new security features. 🧵
In the model we’re proposing, creators can add any smart contract address to the allowlist that they choose, including addresses for lending protocols, vaults, etc.
@psyopcop@GordonGoner yeah reading through it again and getting thoughts from people much smarter than me
this would impact a core component of NFTs and slow down innovation
It's a footnote in the blog post, but we also propose allowlisting code hashes for common implementations of things like smart contract wallets — this could also apply to things like escrow contracts and other tools
