@PhysInHistory He wrote about religion more than anything else. Probably more of that. He was amazing at science, but he liked his occult and religious nonsense far more than most people realize.
@archeohistories Nature hobos. A pitiable existence. Even before the settlers came, it was a life of suffering, ignorance, parasites, and disease. As it has always been for hunter-gatherers. Just unlucky to be born outside of civilization. Almost made it, but not quite. Terrible.
@PhysInHistory It is both. It is a method of finding truth via nature, but it is also the most rigorously verified collection of facts that human beings have access to. The Method is more important, it is the crown jewel of civilization, but come on now.
