@mfernandasali Ambas no son excluyentes. Fuego técnico busca reducir carga de combustibles y, por ende, la magnitud de un daño que ocurrirá con alta probabilidad.
Estás en contra de la construcción de líneas de control también? Actividad común en extinción y también se destruye vegetación.

@mfernandasali @PauCostaF La @conaf_minagri toda la vida ha indicado que en Chile casi ni hay causa natural. @PauCostaF está aportando un montón a Chile; Considerando la presión humana y el clima adverso que tenemos, solo están dando cuenta del riesgo constante en el que vive el país.

@FernandoRainr Claramente nadie está culpando a un arbol… El problema es del modelo productivo forestal que tenemos y como se expresa en el territorio. Además de evitar “irresponsabilidades” hay que hacer cambios estructurales para dar solucion de fondo a ese ciclo.

In different countries of north-western Europe, a region where fire risk is rising due to climate change, our goal was to describe the rate of large fire spread and the associated variation in seasonality and land cover.

Our goal is to characterize fire behavior and fuel moisture in temperate ecosystems of northwestern Europe, and this is just the first step toward that end.
