A strong and well crafted ending is part of writing... maybe the most difficult part. Thus far, GRRM hasn't given us that.

@ArtofASOIAF Dude, I love GRRM's writing and definitely believe, if he finishes ASOIAF, it will be one of the greatest works of fantasy, specifically, and of literature, generally, and he will be one of the greatest writers of all time.

But, unfortunately, the reverse is also true...
