@gerardthelawyer@SadKingRoo@quesoliker@TomCruise You clearly contradicted yourself. You said there are horrible movies that have done great numbers. Proving that the box office doesn’t matter. Plus those movies on there, adjusted for inflation, lost significant amounts of money
@gerardthelawyer@SadKingRoo@quesoliker@TomCruise There’s plenty of amazing movies that have flopped at the box office: Blade Runner, Shawshank redemption, The big Lebowski, Iron giant, etc. Original films don’t do well in this current theater climate and economy.
@Wilqu5677@TazTears@warnerbros Why even comment that though when the post isn’t talking about finances? Obviously the original comment is implying the movie sucks
@TazTears@warnerbros Since when does box office determine how good a movie is? Weren’t you posting about the Odyssey still being a bad movie despite it making $1.8 billion?
@rahmdphd@patriotic_giant@PpollingNumbers It undid Covid? I’m not trying to be rude, I’m more so trying to learn. I was a lot younger during the Biden admin so I’m hoping to have my mind changed. I just don’t think we can say that Act reduced inflation when evidence says otherwise
@rahmdphd@patriotic_giant@PpollingNumbers That’s why I sent that article because I don’t know much about economics. Economists say it didn’t reduce inflation at all. Inflation was already reducing before that bill went into law. In fact, the bill focused mainly on financing green energy projects. So how did it help?
