That is just some nonsense they perhaps believed. Real question is where was the money actually spent + who pocketed it. Seems Bigelow is the answer.

@theblackvault @Wachit0Rico 2/2. Insiders have claimed they built a secure facility to receive alien craft. That certainly wasn't what the $$ was designated to be spent on. Also, this program was never classified as far as I know so I've never understood why they claim it was a secret govt program.

And since they were 100% wrong about the source of Ken's story, it's obvious that they just jumped to a convenient conclusion unsupported by actual evidence which is how they "investigate" everything, so par for the course.

@XExcalibur333 1/2 The sensors on our aircraft and ground ops aren't optimized to detect balloons. There are also laws that make deploying the sensors we do have domestically illegal. AARO was annoyed @ having to waste time on the historic report precisely bc their main task is deploying...
