@Joeuzjh@RupAcharya2@appiecule Loosing a child due to a miscarriage is devastating and lasts a lifetime, there is no competition or league table on which is the most devastating way to lose a child. If you canโt say anything nice, then just don't say anything.
@JustinKuntz1@trixie_belle54@looneetoonee@GBNEWS Churchill wasn't elected as PM, he wasn't even leader of the Tory party until sometime later. He was "chosen" when the only other viable candidate (who sat in the house of Lords), didn't want the job.
@StayHungryPT@JohnTho04985400@GBNEWS We are a parliamentary democracy, not a presidential democracy. When Churchill 1st became PM he wasn't elected by the tories and he wasn't even leader of the Tory party, he got that some time later. Do you think Churchill shouldn't have been appointed?
@British_4Ever@PolitlcsUK airport weather sensors are not simply placed next to hot asphalt. They follow international standards set by the World Meteorological Organization:
Temperature sensors are typically mounted about 1.25โ2 metres above natural grass.

@RaidenReloaded@bernardcullen@metoffice The Met Office operates a network of weather stations in many environments: airports, rural sites, urban sites, hills, coastlines, and more.
Some stations are indeed at airports because aviation requires accurate weather observations.
@RaidenReloaded@bernardcullen@metoffice The RAF has worked closely with the Met Office because aviation depends heavily on weather forecasting, but it did not create the Met Office.
@RaidenReloaded@bernardcullen@metoffice Even if true (it's not), the stations are at the same location, so the record counts as it's comparing to the same location as in the past.
