NEW: In interview with @TheAtlantic, Trump indicates that he sees Delcy Rodriguez as a client figure who has to do his bidding. And he doubles down on Greenland: "We do need Greenland, absolutely. We need it for defense."

Thx to @NPR’s @hereandnow for inviting me to share my thoughts about KPOP DEMON HUNTERS. @TongScott asked the relevant questions as we discussed the Korean American creatives, relevance of artists like BTS & how the U.S. still others K-pop.👇

Elon Musk says that no one has died because he slashed humanitarian aid. I went to South Sudan to check if that's true. It's not. Within an hour of starting interviews, I had the names of a 10-year-old boy and an 8-year-old girl who had died because of decisions by wealthy men in Washington.
The visit that moved me the most was to a remote area that used to have no health care, where women routinely died in childbirth. Then a US-funded maternity clinic opened through @UNFPA in December, and not one woman has died since. I showed up, and people mistakenly thought I was responsible for the clinic. One new mom wanted to name her baby for me, and the village elders thanked me and hailed America's generosity. What they didn't know was that Trump/Musk had cut all funding for UNFPA and that as a result the maternity clinic will close this month, and women will once again be bleeding to death in the dust.

.@FAANews: FAA staff fired over the weekend included personnel that worked radar, landing and navigational aid maintenance, among others. Hundreds were fired, just weeks after a fatal mid-air collision in DC killed 67. One employee said they were harassed on Facebook by @DOGE prior to being fired. https://t.co/4BXVfKtgWh
98% of NIH grants that should have gone out this month, didn't. Despite court orders 'unfreezing' the funds, they are frozen. Biomedical research will grind to a halt. Clinical trials will end. All for no reason: the total impact on the US budget is miniscule
In a statement, AP editor Julie Pace said the White House told the AP if it did not align its editorial standards with Trump’s executive order renaming the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America, it would be barred from accessing Trump's executive order signing
A 23-year-old representative from Elon Musk’s DOGE was granted access to the Energy Department’s IT system on Wednesday by Energy Secretary Chris Wright, sources told CNN.
This despite objections from people in the agency, which controls access to info about the US nuclear weapons.
This is not a drawdown - it's a death sentence.
Not just for @USAID - more importantly, for the millions of people who America had committed to support. USAID's work will completely break.
These deaths are on @SecRubio's head.
