@vansteenkiste_s @tdietterich Totally agree @vansteenkiste_s… all authors play an important role on a paper… and very often there are many more people behind a paper that don’t make it onto an author list.

I believe that this may also create a bias against those from smaller labs. I can imagine that in a lab of 100 people it may be possible to be a co-author on 8 papers, but in a lab of <10 people, there may be less opportunity to be a co-author. Not to mention other biases...
