Breonna Taylor was a 26‑year‑old EMT in Louisville, Kentucky. On March 13, 2020, Louisville Metro Police executed a no‑knock warrant at her home based on a falsified affidavit. She was asleep in her bed when officers fired 32 rounds into her apartment. No drugs were found.

No charges were brought for her death.
