@Platonic_V4x @Doowan_ What? Since when can you decline paying the deflect cost of targetting a unit and avoid playing the card that way? Abilities sure, but a card is not able to omit that. However I still wonder, whether 358.2. + 358.5. allows you to not pay and therefore leave the card in banishment

@Doowan_ It really depends how the in addition from 357.2. should be treated. If it's sequential you cannot, otherwise you can. Especially when reading Ledros you can see his ability reduces the cost of 357.1. even though you pay it at 357.2. I'm inclined to say, you can.

@Doowan_ When attacking it depends, when defending yes. However when attacking if the turn player puts the Diana ability first on the chain and then Threshold, when finalizing he will need to pay for Diana. If he orders Threshold first, Diana second he will be able to pay with that energy
