Jayden Jaramillo
Catcher | Redshirt Freshman | Criminal Justice Major
A recent transfer from Connors State College (OK), Jaramillo acclimated quickly to the Illinois Valley, delivering a standout fall season that signals readiness for the next level.
Offensively, the left-handed hitting catcher posted an eye opening .400/.550/.767 slash line over 36 plate appearances, driving in 10 runs with 2 home runs and 5 doubles. His advanced plate discipline and gap-to-gap power make him a consistent run producer.
Defensively, Jaramillo profiles as a high-level backstop with a plus arm and strong leadership traits. His ability to manage a staff and control the run game reflects his field general makeup.
Jaramillo is actively seeking opportunities to compete at a four-year program and brings both athletic upside and strong academic background to the table.
