I'm convinced Royce White's perpetual candidacy is his hack to subsidize his lifestyle while dodging child support.
Under federal law, nonincumbents can draw candidate compensation while donor money covers everyday living costs like travel, hotel stays, meals, and transportation.
Roll straight from one primary loss into the next campaign, and you’ve built a self-sustaining personal financial loop.
Living on campaign spending keeps W-2 earned income artificially low, and courts set support based on reported wages.
Offsetting expenses via campaign perks keeps official income down and shields benefits from wage garnishment.
The paper trail already exists. An FEC complaint already flagged over $157k in 2022 campaign funds spent on strip clubs, clothing, and opaque cash/wire transfers. Paired with documented child-support arrears, it's pretty clear his political candidacies are just a lifestyle business.
🚨 No charges. Just a funeral.
A Rusk County grand jury declined to indict the deputy involved in the shooting, sparing him from criminal charges. The former deputy now faces a civil wrongful‑death case after a federal judge denied his qualified‑immunity bid in 2025.
This is a gift to cartels, criminals, and U.S. adversaries that exploit shell companies to move millions through our financial system.
Secretary Bessent should testify in front of Congress to explain his decision to put our national security at risk.
You should always be afraid of fat cops. Not just because they have historically the biggest egos but if they have to take more than 5 steps they will shoot you.
Its funny how everyone's idea of heaven is a complete untouched paradise, crystal clear waters, lush green forests, enough food for everyone, classless, moneyless, stateless, a utopia of peace, unity and happiness. But here on earth it's considered a leftist ideology
This is the most deceitful headline of the year so far. What the Post says happened, didn’t.
Fauci raised a hypothetical in January 2021—then correctly said the next month that no evidence of the hypothetical being real had emerged.
And even if it *had*, COVID would be *worse*.
It seems to be a coordinated campaign from (ignorant? lying? dumb?) Fox reporters and the New York Post, all Murdoch properties, to help the GOP spread absolute bullshit and also endanger pregnant women, for whom Covid is and always a much bigger threat than the vaccine (countless studies show the vaccine is safe for pregnant women and babies).
Miscarriage rate if you have a Covid vaccine in pregnancy - about 12%
Miscarriage rate if you DON'T have a Covid vaccine in pregnancy - about 12%
No difference
Covid vaccines don't cause miscarriage
It is not true that the miscarriage rate for vaccinated women was 82%. People are just misreading the study results.
The 82% number was the percentage of pregnancies that ended in the first trimester that were miscarriages. Obviously, miscarriage is the most common way a pregnancy is going to end in the first trimester, so this number is not notable whatsoever.
The denominator of the fraction was not "total pregnancies", it was "pregnancies that ended in the first trimester."
There are countless studies that have proven the vaccine did not cause a higher than normal rate of miscarriages.
Beyond the math and the papers, you can also just use common sense. There are roughly 3.5 million babies born in America every year. Around 70% of American women of child-bearing age got the COVID vaccine.
If the miscarriage rate for vaccinated women were 80+%, that would mean a majority, close to 2/3rds, of pregnant American women miscarried during COVID.
In reality, we can see that the number of births happening in America has been totally flat since the years preceding the pandemic.
Unfortunately, this nonsensical misinformation is going to take hold across broad swathes of the American right because people are either ignorant, panicked, or lying about it.
I am literally a Dr. Fauci hater. I did not and do not think the COVID-19 vaccine should've ever been mandated.
Heck, if Fauci hadn't been pardoned, I would've support him being prosecuted for lying to Congress.
But I just care about facts and accuracy. And you guys are all falling for a complete hoax of a claim about COVID-19 vaccines and miscarriages.
Talk about misinformation.
Many countries outside the US mandated the COVID vaccine even more strictly.
Their birth rates were unaffected.
If this rogue claim by Rand Paul was true and there has been an 81% chance of miscarriage, then the birth rates would have dropped to near zero.
This is your regular reminder, Paul is a deeply compromised foreign asset, stirring up distraction.
People are honestly too stupid to read.
The original advisory was for pregnant women to consult with their doctor.
There had been concerns that it was theoretically possible side effect link could exist and needed to be weighed against individual risk. But they had seen no initial red flags.
Upon review they found no such side effect link existed, and fully lifted the advisory for pregnant women.
How do I know this?
I had my first kid during COVID.
My wife and I, sat with our doctor, and asked about the generic warning for pregnant women.
It was explained to us, that CDC advisory could not yet rule out certain complications but that none had been actually identified.
That was later lifted.
None of that conflicts with Fauci’s messages.
The logical possibility that there could be a tail risk, is not the same as a correlation, never mind a causation.
When such unknown tail risks exist, you weigh up your personal risk tradeoffs with your doctor.
But idiots see Fauci being a good scientist, acknowledging that there are possibilities that must be reviewed (which they did review and rule out) and conclude it must be a conspiracy.
Congrats! The biggest threat to women’s sports has yet again proven to be cisgender men. For everyone who wanted to “protect women,” you just proved you don’t give a shit whatsoever!
Enes Kanter and Royce White have declared for the WNBA Draft. And the right-wing meida is lapping this up as the greatest "gotcha" in the history of gotchas.
In their mind, they are exposing the "loophole" that "all you have to do is say you're a woman," and you can circumvent the barrier between men and women, and take over women's sports.
I'd like to point out that the only other times the right cares about the WNBA are when white women get fouled hard or when players ask to be paid more equitably than the NBA.
But that's another conversation.
The problem with Kanter and White's "gotcha" is that there are no trans women in the WNBA.
Layshia Clarendon identifies as trans, but they identify as nonbinary and was assigned female at birth.
The only professional women's basketball player I can find is Julie Tétart, a trans woman who plays for Monaco Basket Association in Ligue Féminine 2 (LF2), France's second-tier women's league. She's about 6'3" and 34 years old.
Men pretending to be trans women are hardly "taking over" the sport.
There is not now, and never has been, a trans woman who plays Division 1 college basketball, either.
Only one trans woman has ever played college basketball at any level. That was Gabbi Ludwig, who at the age of 50 played for Mission College, a Community College team in 2013.
She did well, but she spent 5 years on hormone therapy before playing, and her team didn't win the championship.
That's hardly the same thing as what White and Kanter are doing.
Prior to Trump's executive order, there were only an estimated 10 trans athletes in all of college sports. (That's not a count; it's an estimate)
There are about 540,000 athletes in the NCAA. That comes out to 0.00196%. To put that in perspective, imagine a half-gallon bucket filled with dried grains of rice, with one of them painted blue.
Your chances of reaching into the bucket and finding that one grain of rice in your first grab are about equal to that of finding any trans athlete in college sports.
That includes trans women, trans men, and people who identify as nonbinary.
The entire premise of Kanter's and White's stunt is to "expose" the loophole that all a man has to do is say they're a woman, and they can dominate the WNBA.
But that's not happening.
So the only real point appears to be just a plea for attention at the cost of the most marginalized group of people in America: The transgender community.
So what can the WNBA? Easy. Just don't draft them.
i wish the dems were smarter & didn’t let the rw groups be the only people who speak out against this clear violation of 1A but unfortunately my position as a prominent critic of israel stops them from using this moment to show gop as arch cancel culture warriors
This is exactly how .@FoxNews propaganda works. Not by lying outright, but by choosing exactly which true facts to show you, and which ones to bury.
Yes, Massachusetts removed its 24-week limit. What Fox doesn't tell you: this covers rare, devastating cases, fatal fetal anomalies, maternal health emergencies, so families don't have to fly out of state during the worst moment of their lives.
Also missing: "very few" abortions happen after 24 weeks at all. Fox lets you imagine healthy, full-term babies being aborted on a whim. That's not what this law does. That's the manipulation.
This is the same network that agreed to pay $787.5 million for lying to us about stolen election. They do so much harm to our nation.
