🎬 DAY 2 IN LONDON — FILMING FOR INSPIRED

Another full day in front of the cameras with @TonyJSelimi for INSPIRED, the documentary coming in 2027.

Saturday captured part of the transformational work behind the scenes. Today is another opportunity to explore the bigger vision that has increasingly shaped my work:

Purposefully transforming healthcare.

For me, the future of healthcare cannot be only about better technology.

AI, robotics and digital innovation will undoubtedly reshape medicine, but the real opportunity is much greater: to create healthcare systems that are more intelligent, more human, more integrated and better prepared for the future.

That transformation also starts with people.

With doctors finding and using their voice.

With leaders being willing to challenge assumptions.

With healthcare organisations aligning technology, strategy, governance and the human realities of clinical care.

And with each of us being prepared to examine what may be limiting the contribution we are capable of making.

Working with Tony has challenged me to explore not only what I want to achieve, but the deeper purpose behind it, and the person I need to become to carry that vision further.

Having part of that journey documented on film has been a fascinating and deeply reflective experience.

I am grateful to Tony J Selimi and the INSPIRED production team for inviting me to contribute to this project, and I look forward to seeing how these conversations come together on screen.

In April, I’m running the London Marathon to raise £3,000 for Refugee Action, a charity whose work I care deeply about.

Today, I ran the Sheffield 10K in under 50 minutes, setting a new PB as I build towards my first full marathon.

The reason I’m doing it matters much more than the running. Refugees are facing relentless hostility, while Refugee Action and the people working to support them are also being subjected to abuse for simply helping people seeking safety.

Their work is vital. They support people who have fled war, persecution and violence, helping them rebuild their lives with dignity and security.
