@GlennHackett2@damdam1 Tottenham have actually not been paying off the principal debt considerably. In fact, their overall net debt has risen over the last few years. Tottenham have not been hampered in their spending by having to pay off the stadium, just 2.66 %
@BilbaoBraggings@damdam1 It's part of their City, snd their identity, maybe I'm wrong, perhaps some Geordies on here can settle it, it's just my opinion from having a lifelong geordie as a friend. They like the stadium in the Toon.
@BilbaoBraggings@damdam1 A lot of the green spaces are protected land, they coukd move to Gateshead bur that means moving out of the City, and thats not really want they want to do, they like the club being in the heart of the City, which I understand, difficult decision to make I think.
@BilbaoBraggings@damdam1 It's really not that simple, I've been to St James Park and the land restrictions around the ground are far greater than it was around Tottenham, there's isted housing all around it, which can't be knocked down,
@PrinceMUNBall I don't think that applies anymore, not for proven prem players anyway, it's not like Tottenham, City, Liverpool are getting players cheaper.
@Udewalter_ knowing he's there behind, shielding the defence will give the rest of the team the confidence to attack, Casemiro was great but he didn't really have the legs in the end. We'll be better as a team with him. Mainoo will probably get forward more and create more.
@GBUnitedx Amazingly, I think Utd could do this, they paid a lot for Yoro and Ratcliffe made it clear from the beginning that he wants to find the next superstars, don't sign Mbappe, find the next Mbappe was his plan.
@GBUnitedx Agreed, all of those players agents would have been knocking on the door the very next day demanding parity and who can blame them, does Fernandes really deserve more than Mbuemo and Cunha. Tottenham will have this problem very soon.
@GBUnitedx I don't think so in the past maybe, but there's no specific Utd tax anymore, just a premier league tax for everyone. City had to pay £116m, Tottenham are paying £85m and £100m, Liverpool paid a lot for Isak. Bournemouth won't be selling to anyone else for less.
@Gideon01069838@Cantonadevils I would, I think he's class, it's just down to him really, Utd will pay as long as Bournemouth don't ask for it all upfront like West Ham did, which I don't think they will.
