Writing a YA sci fi. In submissions, do find male authors writing stereotypical girls? Female authors writing stereotypical boys? If so, in what ways?

@rachel_leyshon Thanks so much for your reply! Obviously not saying Chicken House does this, but some publishers surely do. Some covers make the book seem like it is only meant for girls. Is that just the marketing department? #MAWFYPChat
