@QB1Tattoo I’m an OU fan in Alabama so my best chance to see them live is in Auburn or Tuscaloosa.
So I was blessed to be at both Pick Sixes against the Alabama schools.
@TheHoopCentral@PanthersCulture@ohnohedidnt24 OKC has been called for 136 fouls so far this series. Spurs have been called for 129.
OKC has shot 132 FTs this series. Spurs have shot 143 FTs.
They’re getting calls, too?
@RRodriguez62@macandcube Also, I’m not saying move OU/Texas…. It’s played mid season. I’m asking if other rivalry games would benefit from being moved to around the same part of the season if the CFP expanded to 24
If the CFP does expand to 24, then is there a realistic shot that some of these rivalry games get moved closer to mid season? Kind of like OU/Texas?
@macandcube
@RRodriguez62@macandcube I understand the pride and the stubbornness of tradition. I’m just saying it would be worth a look if you’re talking about expansion devaluing those games. Would playing them earlier keep the value? I’m not sure, but it might be worth at least a discussion. 🤷🏻♂️
It wasn’t quite scorched earth, but the Boys Finale really wasn’t bad.
That’s taking it for what it is and what they set themselves up with. I have thoughts about the season set up leading to it, but the finale itself was pretty good.
@Yomuva1@chnlalt@Kennyduhballern They were one incredible game 7 away. And they ended up on the wrong side of it. In no world does that mean they couldn’t have won it the next season without KD lol.
@Yomuva1@chnlalt@Kennyduhballern KD obviously helped. But they didn’t necessarily need him to win another tile. If that were the case, then no one should’ve been upset about him joining the team.
They were upset because it was already a championship caliber and title proven team.
@Yomuva1@chnlalt@Kennyduhballern Completely disagree. Injuries are a massive part of the game, and with a 7 game series like the NBA, it’s impossible to say Cleveland would’ve won with Kyrie just because they did it the next season.
It’s not always that cut and dry. You know that. You’re just being dishonest.
In this format, Michigan and Ohio State will just be able to rest their starters in The Game knowing they will both already have clinched spots in a 24-team playoff.
This would be the complete and utter ruining of a once sacred regular season.
