Preliminary thoughts:

- It's the economy stupid, inflation probably broke it for a lot of people over three years

- Harris simply couldn't escape the incumbency situation, despite trying her best (The Trump camp might've been right earlier in the year saying NJ would flip when Biden was still in the race, if tonight's results are any indication)

- It's a bad time to be an incumbent, American politics isn't any different. A lot of incumbent governments have been getting shellacked across the globe this past year (See inflation)

- National swings are back in perhaps the wildest way after we assumed they were probably dead in modern elections

Yeah, the votes aren't all in as of the writing of this, but these are very hard margins to reverse at this point, with PA in particular looking like a 3-4 point margin for Trump
