I feel better about the 2026 @nyjets than I ever did in 2025.
A year go, the #Jets were going into a season with a qb who I never believed in, a rookie HC, a rookie OC, and practically no pass catchers after Garrett.
2026 is almost the complete opposite.
@jetsxfactor Heck yeah.
To me, I don’t just want a generic old guy to back up Geno Smith. I’d rather a young guy with upside.
That is Levis. The Titans moving on from him doesn’t necessarily mean they don’t believe he will ever be a good qb. You have to contrast that with having no.1 pick
@damienwoody How dare you!
lol. Funny how never know what’s going to start a shitstorm on Twitter, huh?
I still think what people are missing is that the player/team’s perspective is simply completely different than fans’. I’m not pro-tank this year; but I get it.
@PaulFiore Imagine how bad it will get if they lose to Tennessee. If there could be a must win in week 1, this is it. Even myself, who is usually quick to go pro-tank (like last year, pretty much as soon as they signed Fields), but has some optimism this year. That’d change if L vs Titans
@FrankieVitz Problem is, player’s perspective & FAN’S perspective are completely different. I’m not for tanking this year, but I totally get it.
& if they were to lose to the Titans??? I’m probably right there with the pro-tankers
@damienwoody@TalkJetsRadio I’m not for tanking this year. But it’s like the least dumb thing I’ve seen. Sure, u “played”. But that’s ur problem here; tankers are FANS. Our perspective is completely different. Totally reasonable to think “I’d rather have a REALLY bad year & get no.1 pick, than bad @ 12th”
