@MartinaHill@IrishRail "The only winning move is not to play..." -Matthew Broderick read that in War Games in 1983 and then, 30 years later, I chose to stepaside (Dublin pun) and let Big Daddy Rail do it's Big Daddy thing and bring you fine folks to Malahide.
Any love left for the Road Train? Toot.
@CfrMalahide @MalahideLions Did you hurl one of these up at Sting over the weekend? I think he would have found that pretty funny! You could have shouted "I hope you get *my* message in a bottle, Stingathon!" and he might have laughed and given a thumbs up and played 'Roxanne'. Toot!
@DarraghOBrienTD @electslb @fiannafailparty Tooooo(oooo)ooot! Ain't no party like a @fiannafailparty, cos a Fianna Fรกil party don't stop (getting elected to local seats)! Congrats!
Why not take a celebratory trip on a Malahide Road train? I don't go to Skerries, but we can point at it and wave!
@MalahideCC@enjoymalahide@Fingalcoco@MalahideUtdAFC@OfficialSylsGAA The *car* tried to break into a van? This makes me nervous. Maybe the lifts at Malahide train station will give me a wedgie when I'm not looking. The caboose of a road train is quite the target for those ne'er-do-well 'verties' (that's what we call vertical moving machines).
When it's all said and done, I can quite literally Take You To (a selection of fascinating and beautiful local) Church(es) in the Malahide area!
Catholic. Protestant. Even Presbyterian, if you're feeling adventurous!
Oh, hello @Hozier! Looking forward to hearing you in Malahide Castle this month. I can't see you, because I'm a humble road train.
If you need an ad-hoc, improvised train horn solo for the outro of 'Take Me To Church', I'm all yours! It's only one note, G#! Toooooot! (see?)
Many are asking and the answer is a resounding ABSOLUTELY: I *do* take contactless payments!
Just drop your coins into my driver's hand, no need for touching ๐ You can still go with the old school "coins in a handshake, warm eye contact" approach, but that can get messy. Toot!
