Home prices in San Francisco are soaring. But it's just a handful of ZIPs—in SF proper and Silicon Valley—that are hot. Prices in the broader SF-Oakland-Fremont metro area are up only ~3% (not spectacular in a national context). My map:
Completely agree Faraz! 🎯
I don’t want to play poker until midnight for 3 or 4 days in a row. As an amateur, that’s not fun for me. In fact, it’s torture - and so I avoid those structures. I know I’m not the only one that feels this way.
The Shooting Star is a perfect structure. (The only quibble I have is you don’t need to go to 90 minute levels with 36 left. 60 minute levels is plenty deep).
The @WPT@Bay101Casino schedule is how tournament poker should be run.
Players are loving it.
Day 1: 10am start, 9 one-hour levels.
Days 2–3: 11:15am start, 8 one-hour levels.
Food delivered to the table. No dinner break. Done around 8pm every night.
You can play a full week of poker without completely wrecking your sleep, health, and daily routine.
Tournament operators need to stop cramming so many hours into each day.
I get it, longer days save operating costs. But the long-term value of giving players a better experience shouldn’t be underestimated.
A better player lifestyle means happier players who are more likely to keep coming back.
If you agree with this, tag whatever TDs or venues you think need to hear this 🙏
If I was starting out in poker and had to make my first $100k all over again, here are the 5 most crucial things I'd focus on to get there
In the order I'd do them👇
DAN IVES SEES 80%–90% ODDS OF SPACEX–TESLA MERGER
Dan Ives reiterated Outperform on SpaceX ($SPCX ) with a $225 price target, following its $40B GPU financing deal.
He sees an 80%–90% chance of a Tesla ($TSLA ) merger by 2027, potentially valuing Tesla above $500 per share.
The key takeaway: A merger could combine Tesla's robotics and autonomy with SpaceX's AI infrastructure and computing power.

Lula's win in Brazil is so far good for a 25% drop in its stock market ETF traded here in the US. The iShares Brazil ETF $EWZ is down 25.4% pre-market and trading right where it ended 2025.
The 25 worst performing S&P 500 stocks in the first half were a mix of consumer stocks and software names that were supposed to no longer be needed because of AI.
If you bought an equally weighted basket of all 25, you’d be up 34% in the second half.
Value investors have a different idea of when the software stocks “set up” than technicians. Going even higher nevertheless! All aboard! $CRM

First Cash $FCFS - the nation’s leading pawn shop operator - getting hit hard on earnings today. I’ve wanted to own this one for a long time and today’s selloff provides a perfect entry for what is a counter cyclical business.
