INSIDE THE COURTHOUSE: To give you an idea of how difficult it is to get into the courthouse for the Karmelo Anthony trial, one reporter told me that she was waiting to get in since 4am.

There is a curfew imposed and no one is allowed to be on courthouse grounds from 11pm-6am. But she states that people were waiting on the sidewalk near the courthouse as early as 4am.

About 10 minutes before curfew let up, officials allowed people to start lining up to get inside.

Keep in mind that only select people are allowed inside the actual courtroom, but there is a separate room for media and any other attendees where the trial is being streamed.

Many Karmelo Anthony supporters have made sure to line up early so they’re the ones in these seats. During jury selection yesterday, I watched them take detailed notes regarding each potential juror as the selection process took place.

There are only 27 seats in the alternate room and strict media rules set in place for this trial to restrict excess details from getting out as the trial progresses.
