Credit where credit it due. @dapperlabs's new https://t.co/Wp2IsMedvD UI is more visually appealing, easier to navigate & takes less clicks to accomplish various tasks. Plus an integrated marketplace (https://t.co/2xtjBq43l1) that combines the various platforms is coming soon.

Additionally and for the thing I write articles about on @tomecollective, the improved UI for Fast Break is slick. Yes, I wish my collection were worth more, but I can at least appreciate their focus on the collecting experience & diligence with scarcity over the past @NBA & current @WNBA season.

Time will tell whether this translates to collector growth. At the very least, their execution on permanence & decentralization means my collection will always be my collection.

Note: I collect on @PaniniAmerica BC, @Beezie, physical card board, @mnstr, @DisneyPinnacle - each has its pros & cons; love each for different reasons.

True collectors know this. We are at the very start of the story still guys.

There can and will be a few successful players in the area.

There are places to improve on both, and that's fine!

Many people in the world have still not even touched an actual NFT.

Also yes when you are experimenting with new stuff for the first time there will be ups and downs.

When you are the first to try things it is hard to know the exact path to take.

@NBATopShot did not have anything to look at to know the correct path.

The demand at the peak of 2021, was hard to navigate in the correct way.

I would love it if both platforms succeed. That people involved in both of them benefit, and have something they can share with their friends, and family.

I love collecting with my family. Reminds me of when I was a kid doing so with my grandfather.

There was 2250 pre orders for only 450 boxes at $250 each, and there was over 9000 pre orders for only 900 standard packs at $25. Many people could not even get a single one of anything because demand far out weighs supply. You are trying to tell a story with huge pieces of key information missing

@Gratefulape It's been a great season for Top Shot imo. I got involved in October and had a blast with it.

With it being offseason, it's a good time to get some of the good rookies from last season and catch up on the summer league action to scout rookies for the new drops in the fall.

No lowering mint counts was a great decisions, how can you say that is was not. We need this new base level to build again. In the long run series 1 and older series can recover. It was something that had to be done, to get new users, as well as making the drops exciting and worth doing

@tipofthespear @JAYMKTG @PaniniAmerica @NBATopShot They made mistakes for sure, but they did really good this year, and everyone has been happy with rookies mint counts. The rookies Debut boxes sold for $250, and people have been reselling them for $1100, thats pretty wild. The prices shows it was a very good drop.
