BRUSH FIRE | FS79 | Hwy 138/ Largo Vista Rd. #Llano | #LACoFD units made quick work of a fast moving brush fire in Llano. Fast acting firefighters managed to hold the fire to just 3 acres. F.D. will remain on scene for the next couple hours for mop up operations.

As of 2:45pm today (3/10) PCH from Santa Monica to Topanga Cyn Blvd (TCB) is open. TCB from PCH to Old Canyon is open and clear. Lots of rain though, so conditions could change at any moment. Stay safe and dry! https://t.co/ACqb2IwuHz

Recent reports show Old Topanga Cyn open both directions with several small mud & rock slides, Calabasas residential area, NB lane. Nothing of consequence. Drive slow… be safe…. Remember even after rains slides can happen for several days!!

TCB has reopened between Grandview and PCH but there is SOOO much water in those slopes that slides could happen at any time. And it just started raining again in Fernwood. Drive super slow and carefully as you round those blind curves.

12:15 pm Field report: Topanga Cyn Blvd heading south closed at the lumber yard. New mudslides about 3/4 miles south of the roadblock.
