Just an hour ago, I ran into an old buddy I hadn't seen in years at a cafe. Perhaps after ten years.

He used to be a very cool guy.

We were exchanging pleasantries when he asked, "So, how many wives now?" I was shocked.

So I asked him, "Do you regularly ask that question?"

He smiled and added, "No, I know you and your numerous affairs and girl friends... hahaha."

I honestly asked him, "So why didn't you ask me how many girl friends? Why wives?".

He was stunned when he realized what had happened.

I said, "When did you become a bigoted piece of shit? You said it because I'm Muslim."

I rose up and changed tables.

He is a good guy; he approached my table and said, "I am sorry, you are correct; I have known you for years, and I know who you are." I still said it. Man, we don't realize how the shit world can change us."

And then he continued to feel terrible for a time.

As I have already indicated, he is a good guy. However, there is so much to unload from this single interaction.

Our old buddies who hung out with us for years and even when they were cool and modern, have changed dramatically.

And this is the power of propaganda and mass communication.
