@InternetH0F The men/women friendships conversation is always interesting to me b/c the root of the problem really do be men lmaoo a lot of the times the reasons why males say that women and men can’t be friends is b/c THEY aren’t able to coexist with Women platonically.
They make every election seem like we all gonna die if the right person isn’t elected. We all about to go to our same jobs tomorrow to our same homes and sleep in the same bed with our same problems. Glad when this is done and off my feed.
To the people voting based on abortion,
If Trump wins, you are not going to lose your rights because it’s up to the states.
If Kamala wins, she can’t change anything because it’s up to the states.
Hope this helps.
a pattern I’m noticing with smart, thoughtful people is that they usually know what their problems are, they know where those problems come from, they know the intellectual steps to solve them
but they get stuck there, in analysis mode, churning through insight after insight
I sobbed to my therapist today about how I'm envious of girls who have a core group of girl besties they regularly hang out with bc I've never really had that 🥺 I wanna go to brunch and host girls nights but idk if I ever will bc it's so hard to make friends as an adult
possessiveness has no place in any friendship or relationship. we do not own people, they belong to themselves. it is not normal to control their actions in order to soothe our own insecurities. people are there for us to experience and appreciate with respect.
I overhear a girl at bus station telling her bf "I can't help you through everything but I can love you through everything" and I just hope every one finds this kind of
Emotionally immaturity is a dealbreaker for me. It isn’t a “I am who I am." It’s a "I don’t care to learn how to deal with my emotions enough to have a healthy relationship with you." It isn’t a "just accept it." It’s toxic behaviour. It isn’t something anyone has to deal with it. It’s unnecessary stress & drama. It isn’t cute or funny. It’s childish. No healthy adult has the time or energy to deal with an emotionally immature child in an adult body. Grow up.
