@westlotpirates If this team is getting to a bowl then NU should win by 2+ scores. The gap between the B1G and FCS is bigger than ever. SP+ has NU at 50 and SDSU at 103. They are not more talented than the top of the G6.
@M_Shelton33 Like you said, this game isn’t nearly the threat that it was a decade ago. Solid team and test but this is a game NU should handle by a few scores if this team has bowl aspirations. The NFL draft highlights the talent exodus from the FCS/G6 level.
@sheanorling@thekapman@xjhoodespn I love how even when we find our franchise QB, Chicago media/fans will still be able to gas up our backup QB as a potential guy.
@therealburns3 Why are we listening to anything Ben Devine says. He’s been saying Indiana has been an essentially a done deal for months when that clearly isn’t the case. He saw others report an update tomorrow and is now throwing this out there. Biggest fraud on Bears twitter.
@NUfans14 It just doesn’t seem possible with how the schedule lines up. I honestly think they need to be sitting at 5-2 to even feel good about bowling. Drawing Iowa the week after a trip to Oregon is tough. @ Minny after @ OSU is brutal. Illinois after that stretch sucks. Early bye hurts
@BarstoolChief USC this Sep/Oct- Oregon, Wash, at PSU, BYE, at Wisc, OSU. Also then have a Nov trip to IU.
ND- at Purdue, at UNC, Stanford, at BYU, BYE, Navy
Maybe not the year to be trying to make that point.
@BarstoolChief Bowl games are traditional so I’m guessing ND always jumps at that opportunity. The playoffs aren’t traditional so I’m assuming ND would skip that to play in a bowl game. Times are changing. Everyone is adjusting.
@RLins12 There is none. It’s the reality for NU, smaller stadium should help (maybe not with some of the prices) but that’s why I don’t see it as a shot at NU. It’s just the reality of their situation.
@FriedmanSports@RLins12 Ok, but in one of this Colter seasons, post Gator Bowl, Gameday in town, ABC primetime, Homecoming and limited single game seat sales still resulted in a neutral site atmosphere. He’s just talking about reality man.
@michaelsobrien What’s going on with the CSL scheduling? Some schools playing 4 some playing 5 conference games. Cross divisional games mixed in with inter division games
@TylerAki_@JesseRogersESPN The neighbors are fighting like hell to stop concerts at the new stadium. That was a huge hurdle to get it built. They also fought to keep the Red Stars from playing their home games at the new stadium. The Wilmetle neighbors on the other side suck.
