Today's practice was about the design of bevel Gear, Hopper, and the assembled drawing of a spiral slide with a ball and a bowl. I was open to motion analysis and sheet metal drawings, which increases my knowledge in SolidWorks design.

If you are serious about international scholarships, MSc/PhD admissions, fellowships, grants, research opportunities, or academic mobility, do not assume that every application essay is simply a
"Motivation Letter." You need to understand what each document means, why it is requested, what it should contain, and when it is appropriate to use it. The terminology and requirements can vary between universities, scholarship providers, countries, and programmes, so always follow the specific instructions provided by the institution.

1. MOTIVATION LETTER

Explains why you are applying, why the opportunity matters to you, why you are interested in the institution/programme, and what motivates you to pursue it. It should demonstrate genuine motivation, relevant preparation, programme fit, and future direction.

2. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE (SOP)

Primarily explains your academic and professional purpose. It commonly covers your academic background, relevant experience, research interests, reasons for choosing the programme, programme/institution fit, and your short- and long-term goals.

3. PERSONAL STATEMENT

Focuses more strongly on you as a person-your experiences, development, values, challenges, achievements, perspectives, and the experiences that have shaped your academic or professional ambitions. Its emphasis depends heavily on the application.

4. RESEARCH PROPOSAL

Presents a specific research project you intend to conduct. Depending on the programme, it may include the research problem, background, literature context, research gap, objectives/questions, methodology, expected outcomes, significance, and references.

5. STUDY PLAN

Explains what you intend to study and how you plan to undertake your academic programme. It may address your academic objectives, proposed coursework or research direction, learning priorities, timeline, and how the study connects to your future career or development goals.

6. RESEARCH STATEMENT

Describes your research background, experience, current research interests, expertise, and future research direction. It is particularly relevant in research-intensive MSc/PhD and academic applications, although the required content varies by institution.

7. LETTER OF INTENT (LOI)

Expresses your formal intention to pursue a particular academic, research, professional, or institutional opportunity and explains the purpose behind that intention. Some institutions use "Letter of Intent" differently from "Statement of Purpose," so follow the specific prompt.

8. SCHOLARSHIP ESSAY

A response written specifically around the scholarship provider's questions and selection criteria. Depending on the scholarship, it may address leadership, community impact, academic excellence, career goals, financial need, development objectives, challenges overcome, or your expected contribution.
