@DoorDash_Help - Are ya'll having driver issues? 2nd night in a row that my order keeps getting pushed back. It's my original order delivery time and no dasher assigned yet
@xai - Looks like @grok is maybe having some issues right now, alot of things are getting cut off with (obviously with correct values):
System: * Today's date and time is HH:MM AM/PM TZ on DAY, MONTH DD, YYYY.
Has happened probably 8/9 times in the last 2 hours in a workspace.
@kate_qu @girlpowertbh But how would you know? We can't read right? I was pretty sure we aren't good at reading. Hometown pop: 274 checking in. A mill and a hill. Oh and a post office. But don't you worry - them city folks are gonna fix everything any day now.
@LindseyGrahamSC I agree with you in part. Europe should unhollow their DIB and military. The fact is in Budapest we gave security guarantees. Does the US keep its word or not? In lafrance (you know where it is), I was taught a man keeps his word. Not just when it's popular. Guess that was wrong.
@NickJFreitas Apparently. Otherwise Kamala wouldn't be on the list, or hogg, stephen,put-me-to-sleep Schumer. Elizabeth and Pete would be in a seperate block for "third way" dems(which barely exist these days). Kamala just begs me for money in emails with no plans. It's a shitshow 4me here tbh
@MAH458@catturd2 Why would they build in a strategic blunder like that. We aren't a trustworthy partner. There is a reason after this reset happened that our Defense stocks dropped and EU ones went up. They'll buy Eurofighters and build their own munitions. They are rebuilding their DIB.
@catturd2 Good for you! I really mean it. The alcohol calories especially really sneak up on you. Really any calories you drink sneak up on you. Hope you keep it up!
@Pol_Inc_Man@72ps@DefiyantlyFree Too short. 1st year ever - learning to do their jobs and the last year each term running for reelection. If you want lobbyists to run the government then it will work fine. I'd go 18 years total between the two. No more than 18 years in congress period (House & Sen). A generation
@Bunny_B_Hink@elonmusk Orders don't work via proxy. No one put out a memo saying the Secretary of Defense answers to elon. If he wants broad compliance it needs to come from the office of the president not random external email.
@lavinia_colzani@elonmusk The military department chain of command is pretty clear. They answer up their various hierarchical grouping to their branch Secretary, who answers to the SecDef, who answers to the president.
If the request came from the office of the president and not DOGE, then they'd answer.
@AnnWrig12385921@glasshalffull54@WTPRPOed@adgirlMM Appreciate that. Fair warning I do not post much. I do try to recognize that everyone is just trying to do what they think is best, even if I disagree - which I occasionally will at length.
@MizzJones_01@Llana No it's done every week. Just usually to your manager... not the CEO or COO. They then filter that up to their manager and so forth until the CEO/COO gets a much shorter list of what the divisions have accomplished. Your manager may also just do it for you.
@AnnWrig12385921@glasshalffull54@WTPRPOed@adgirlMM Unfortunately not much. The way corps are set up is what causes it.
You can get your congressional reps/senators to help redefine what shareholder's "best interests" are and that would help. But it's a slippery slope for capitalism.
@AnnWrig12385921@glasshalffull54@WTPRPOed@adgirlMM If you aren't planning on mandating that companies produce in america using american workers it isn't going to happen. Two words for you Fiduciary Responsibility.
If I can outsource to other places to reduce costs I have legal responsibility to shareholder to do so unless illegal
@elonmusk My list:
-Attended a pointless meeting that could have been an email/slack message(x3)
-Tried to get stuff done but "Karen" from Accounting said they were waiting on the right color of money to come in.
-Cried softly into my desk
-bludgeoned approval from leadership
-DB Migration
@BeHappySisyphus@pardus_prime@KMO1980@samstein All for it man(or woman? lets go with dude). Frankly I'm looking forward to seeing the DoD finally get a taste of "What exactly am I fuckin paying for?" Maybe we'll start getting projects that don't go years over schedule. Maybe we'll get some better agile acquistion rules too.
