@dawes_dr I have never seen this before, nor is it present in any other Caribbean territory. A when wi come to dis starr. We want young able bodied Jamaicans to have children but pregnant mothers to be have to endure this, a joke thing.
@dawes_dr GM Dr Dawes, its a crying shame that as Jamaicans we have to pay for parking to access health services or visit ailing family, loved ones or friends at the UHWI, pregnant women have park walk all the way to MIMS & then go stand in a line to pay for parking.
@The876bird If this is Jamaica, the ln yikes as quads are not allowed under the road traffic act hence they cannot be licensed amd insured..so yeah this naah look good. Bonnet look like is a Prado this..jah jah God.
3 of 3..@NationwideRadio security guards under the instructions of the greed UHWI management chain off everywhere and visitors are forced to park and pay even our pregnant women using the facilities. What a disgrace. A really dis wi come to?
2 of 3..@NationwideRadio before she could have parked in the maternity parking or across from it. Nowhere else in the carib or LATAM is such a ridiculous arrangement in place for a hospital funded by our own tax dollars. Jamaicans should be outraged but they seh a so di thing go
1 of 3..Good day Team @NationwideRadio I went to the UHWI today and saw an expecting mom about 7 months pregnant walking in the sun from the forced paid parking to the maternity, literally on the other side of the ring road. When did we come to this awful level of greed.
2 of 2 @christufton in the past she could have just parked by the maternity ward or across from it but now everyone is forced to park and pay for a hospital funded by tax dollars. Nowwhere else in the carib or LATAM have I seen this ridiculous arrangement let's do better.
1 of 2 @christufton Good day to you Minister, Sir the paid situation at UHWI is untenable. I went to visit a relative and saw an expecting mother about 7 months pregnant walking from the paid parking to the maternity ward literally on the other side of the ring road in the sun.
@popeyesjm 2 of 2..that's J$0.01 x 10,000 x 7 x 52 = J$36,400.00 for which customers got no value. Its an unethical practice that needs to stop or maybe someone should point it out to the Consumer Affairs Commission. A customer who is short $0.01 wouldn't get their meal do better
1 of 2..Dear @popeyesjm why do you guys charge J$0.01 more than the meal when customers pay using their cards. This is a dishonest practice and albeit a small amount its still an overcharge/theft. If you are doing this to an average of 10,000 customers/day for a week for a year.
@NWCjam The residents of Meadowbrook Estates have been with running water since Tuesday evening, what is happening with the supply. We were already have very serious restrictions on a strict schedule. While surrounding areas like Havendale had no restrictions. Kindly address.
@djmillerJA with all other available parking being closed off visitors or patients as the case maybe are basically mandated to use the paid parking with these ridiculous rates even at nights most parking areas remain inaccessible. What's really happening a dis we come to? 2 of 2
@djmillerJA Hi Dionne, don't know if you or any family, friends or associates have visited the UHWI lately and experienced having to pay for parking. All available parking seemed to have been closed off and designated as staff parking this is ludacris..1 of 2
@NationwideRadio it's a shame that visitors to the UHWI have to pay for parking as they seek medical attention themselves or bring friends or loved ones to be treated. This is a greedy act and as Jamaicans we need to stand against these type of practices. UHWI do better than that
@JamaicaPNP@jlpjamaica@televisionjam1 I am very disappointed that as a Jamaican I have to fork out money to pay for parking when I bring a loved one to get medical attention after soon many 5ks and donations that is really what Jamaicans have to face, do better than that man
@ScotiabankJM@ScotiabankHelps Its absolutely ridiculous that it costs JMD50.00 for a withdrawal from an ATM. When you will earn basically nil interest if you have JMD1mil in your account for say a month of more, but you guys charging us that much for one transaction. Do better.
@JMMBGroupJA Question here, how comes when the central was increasing base rates JMMB Bank automatically send customers letters advising that their monthly obligations WILL BE going up but nothing is automatically sent when bases rates are reduced by BoJ?
