"it is better to fail aiming high than to succeed aiming low. And we of Spurs have set our sights very high, so high in fact that even failure will have in it an echo of glory"
Danny Blanchflower. (Wrongly attributed to Bill Nicholson, even by the club)
@TheOtherGordon How comes every hot spell in the uk is attributed to climate change on the news. Climate is measured over 30 years or so. They its becoming more common. Ok but which hot spell is just a hot spell and which is caused by CL? Is it not possible some hot spells would happen anyway?
@FirstDoctor Philosophically, its attraction lies in the age-old human desire to transcend normal consciousness and experience the world, and oneself, differently.
@dan_jr1987@Stephenlovelif1 Its better than clubs just getting a rich owner and blowing everyone away like Chelsea and city did, jumping the queue, rendering every other club who are doing things gradually and smartly pointless.
@Philgebunts@BigGazLaw Its really not. If you think its then good for you. Also i dont need or want a coaching lesson. And i speak for a lot of people with that view.
@Philgebunts@BigGazLaw Yeah cos theres no in between. You pick some cliches to make your argument ignoring all the good punditry that is less patronising l.
@7thInningSteph Dont need a coaching lessons for punditry. Find it patronising and old fashioned on black board. Nothing insightful about spotting triangles. We learnt to play in triangles as kids. Maybe its for newbies. But hey u look good to who you wanted to look good with this post right.
@CWeatherspoon_ What do you know about most watchers? Thousands of people who have grown up playing the game all their lives? We learnt playing in triangles very young. Its patronising. Its not insightful. Maybe for newbies. Pass backwards, sideways or forwards. “Stretch option” purlease.
@sport_simon Its patronising for me. We grew up playing football. Taught as kids about playing in triangles. We ca recognise its maybes it for newbies. Its certainly not that insightful. “Stretch option” shes said theres a pass back, sideways and forwards. These option don’t need names.
@AVFCJono What about triangle’s? Learnt this stuff when we were kids. Don’t need a coaching lesson. Maybe its for newbies? She’s said they can pass backwards, sideways and forwards. “Stretch option” dreary me. Also, and this isn’t her fault, chalk board is very old fashioned.
