“When people talk about Bergerac, two things immediately spring to mind: Jersey, and the car.” #Bergerac is BACK for 2025, starring Damien Molony in the lead role (and the driver’s seat). Buckle up, crime drama fans! 📺

With strong increases in visitor arrivals, they’re well on track to reach impressive revenue targets! And next year, for the first time, Antigua will host the 43rd Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA) Caribbean Travel Marketplace. Exciting times ahead 🌴#OneCaribbean

It’s time for #JerseyCI's annual @BattleOfFlower, or 'La Bataille dé Flieurs' in #Jèrriais, with ‘flieur’ meaning flower and ‘babinnes-dé-lièvre’, which translates as whiskers of a hare, meaning harestail, used on many Battle floats. This lovely postcard is of Battle in 1910.
Have you ever eaten d’la pèrche-pièrre (samphire)? Or foraged for other edible plants on our shoreline? Some plants newly arrived on our coasts don’t yet have #Jèrriais names, but with the help of children in Jèrriais classes in schools and @ArtHouseJersey, they soon will have!
@hajime_kimura i'm very jealous Hajime! Seeing Sakurajima in action is one of my big wishes. I was lucky enough some years ago to take the train past Mt. Aso and then see Mt. Unzen close up, but not erupting!! 🌋🌋
