I’m so livid.

I just watched Kevin McCarthy walk into one of Washington D.C’s fanciest restaurants with his secret service and his entourage to enjoy his dinner.

No I’m not saying where.

At the same exact time McCarthy and Republicans are holding our entire country’s economy hostage.

Any why? Why the fuck are they doing it?

So they can force extreme cuts to the part of the budget that funds nutrition for newborns and pregnant moms, cancer research, and grants for clean drinking water.

It’s not McCarthy who would suffer in a debt crisis and it’s not his rich buddies either.

It would be YOU.

It would be everyone who relies on Social Security to pay rent and afford food.

Just those disruptions alone would have enormous economic and health consequences over time.

To Republicans, what the fuck are you doing? Why aren’t you screaming for them to stop this terrorist bullshit? Do you not realize this would affect you too?

In the meantime, Kevin McCarthy will be on the finest restaurants on your dime.

As we were waiting to eat in Hattiesburg my baby saw this Army Soldier and said thank you for your service. He said thank you & pointed to his right arm at the 🇺🇸 telling Macie to take it off & hang on to it! Y’all talking about chills and tears!
