1/ Last year, I declared a waste emergency in Tower Hamlets.

This wasn’t gesture politics - it was a statement of intent to clean up our borough.

We still have a long way to go but we’ve started by redesigning the service from within.

When they’re full, they send a signal that they need to be emptied.

As you can see, @LutfurRahmanTH ‘s Council can’t even respond to their own reports!

@TowerHamletsNow @LutfurRahmanTH There's also another site, corner of Teesdale Street and Old Bethnal Green Road. I have reported these repeatedly through the app, yet the reports are simply closed, while the rubbish remains.
