🇮🇷🇺 Over 25 million Iranians have registered for "Jan Fada, For Iran," a state-backed campaign asking citizens to declare readiness to die defending the country.
It's not a draft. Registration takes a name, phone number and province, and signing up carries no military commitment.
The campaign was launched via mass SMS and state TV as U.S. ground invasion fears grew.
“Jan Fada” loosely translates to "I sacrifice my life" and Iran wants the world to know 25 million people mean it.

The world, Europe, and Spain have faced this critical moment before. In 2003, a few irresponsible leaders dragged us into an illegal war in the Middle East that brought nothing but insecurity and pain.
Our response then must be our response now:
NO to violations of international law.
NO to the illusion that we can solve the world’s problems with bombs.
NO to repeating the mistakes of the past.
NO TO WAR.
