@jonfavs Dems should weaponize it like Luntz and Rufo. Call the Republicans the Party of Corruption (or something that resonates) at EVERY mention of the party. Refer to “convicted felon” President Trump at every reference to him. It works. I still hear “crooked Hillary” in my mind.
"We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people."
Joe Murphy is right. No current commissioner on the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission has an academic or professional background in conservation science, land management, species conservation or ecology.
The next Governor should change that. https://t.co/DHgzbXxxz9
@hwinkler4real Henry, please do a fly fishing podcast. What are you fishing? What do you like to fish? Favorite places? Have you ever tried saltwater for bonefish, snook, redfish, tarpon, etc.? Best wishes and keep the good vibes flowing.
A Reuters analysis found 96% of Trump's second-term clemency grants went to recipients who didn’t meet longstanding Justice Department guidelines, such as a five-year wait after conviction or demonstrated remorse https://t.co/tKw9IAyrYW @specialreports
BREAKING: DHS just waived all environmental laws to blast border barriers and roads through Big Bend National Park.
This marks the first time in American history the feds have gutted dozens of laws to push industrial-level construction through a national park.
The Trump administration is sending ships to rip 900 ocean sensors out of the Atlantic and Pacific — and Congress already told them twice they couldn't do it.**
They're doing it anyway.
A judge has ruled that corporations can vote in some Delaware elections.
Delaware Superior Court Judge Craig Karsnitz said the town of Fenwick Island was not diluting human votes by allowing companies and other legal entities that own property to cast votes in municipal elections.
These "legal entities" and corporations make up about 12% of registered voters in the town.
In total Delaware has far more corporations chartered in the state than residents.
Judge Karsnitz rejected the constitutional arguments of the ACLU, including the claim that "entity" or corporate voting dilutes the political power of living people.
Any DOJ settlement that gives the President a dollar -- or a direct material benefit -- is a flagrant violation of the Presidential Emoluments Clause:
"The President shall not receive ... any other Emolument from the United States, or any of [the states]." Art II, S.1, cl. 7.
It’s important to understand that it isn’t only Trump who is deeply corrupt here. It’s every Republican elected official who doesn’t say or do anything about this staggering corruption. Every one of them sees it and knows it’s wrong.
This is so corrupt that the lawyers who crafted this should be disbarred & removed, the acting AG who signed it should be disbarred & removed, and the president who orchestrated it all should be impeached & removed & finally at long last made irrelevant.
Staggering corruption
@joshgerstein How is "...the IRS is “forever barred and precluded” from pursuing “examinations” of Trump, “related or affiliated individuals,” and related trusts and businesses." remotely legal or binding?
