As if my school had the nerve today to suggest we minimise contact over Xmas so that no one is isolating in Jan. during a whole staff cheese and wine gathering in the hall (I was on via zoom). What a joke.

Thanks so much for all your hard work this term. It really is appreciated. Don’t forget the three hours of CPD tomorrow (bring your planner), Year 11 parents’ evening on Tuesday, 6th Form Open Evening on Wednesday, and Prize Giving on Thursday (directed time).

Anonymous school teacher- a head at a previous school popped open a bottle of champagne everytime they made a member of staff quit. They then put the cork on the window seal of their office which was on the ground floor. This way we could all see when another cork appeared.

Hey, you'll like this one! Received SLT meeting agenda. Looked OK. Replied saying I'd like to be out by 16:45 (usually finishes around then) as I'm watching my son's nativity. He's got all stroppy and now rearranging it for tomorrow to ensure "we're all there for the duration"!

I'll make a start... I was pushed out of my job by the head (quit or else kind of scenario) because I applied for another job. Handed in my notice, no job to go, months of hell.... The head came to my leaving do... #toxicschool #badboss #britishschool #SLT
