@HotelChocolat Somewhat disappointed to have no birthday email this year. DOB seems to have been removed from my VIPMe card. Still shows on my account. Store very unhelpful.
@Gorgie61066@flying_rodent My great uncle would have torn you a new backside for this rubbish. The problem is he was blown to pieces in the 1st Battle of Narvik in 1940. None of his family would agree with this rubbish, they fought against Moseley's blackshirts.
@magicb70262355@theJeremyVine The same arguments were made about pedestrianisation of Northumberland Street in Newcastle. That used to be the A1. It’s a great place to visit and shop.
@iontecs_pemf@sharrond62 If I offer US currency for any goods or services then I will be laughed out of the building. There’s a lot more places in the world than America and US codified low applies in none of them.
@ChrisWatkins5@theswearygolfer@GuillermElodie Not one person in a hotel is an illegal immigrant. They are asylum seekers and until their claim for asylum is heard, they are here legally. Only if their claim is rejected are they here illegally. There is no such thing as illegal immigration. The phrase is an oxymoron.
@ArthurGoon14297 @GBGreatAgain @SheilaMurr4724@BorisTheKing1 Of course they’re counting voter turnout. Oddly that wasn’t important in the Brexit vote where only 37% of the entire electorate voted to leave. It’s almost as if they want the rules to be different just to satisfy them. They lost, time to get over it and stop crying like babies.
@SandraWeeden@Petewoods17 You do understand that the laws in Scotland do differ from those in England and Wales don’t you. However, there is a high court ruling on this that it really would help to have read first.

Spent the last couple of days visiting Sheffield. We are pedestrians for the visit. All I can say is this is a city that puts car drivers first and relegates pedestrians and cyclists at every point in the city travel infrastructure. City on the move? No.
@emilyhewertson Yes, you are one of the few people lacking a sense of humour. Even the Tories in the Thatcher cabinet were able to laugh at the Spitting Image cariacatutes of them as did Labour politicians of the time. Political satire is a long standing British tradition.
@LeeAndersonMP_ When referring to two tiers, the correct way of asking the question is “are there two tiers”. I was taught English in a South Yorkshire pit village comprehensive school
