@BiggestComeback @mikeoniron @PeterAttiaMD Both of these traits are largely determined by genetics. My highest vo2 measured was 39 & that was as an 22 yo elite cyclist. Some people are never going to have a good vo2max no matter how many intervals they do. It doesn't mean that they aren't healthy.

@BiggestComeback @mikeoniron @PeterAttiaMD Just look at cyclists to see the problem with this. Cyclists with huge Vo2 are some of the weakest individuals around. Sprint cyclists are some of the strongest individuals around and have laughable vo2s. Hard to be freakishly strong and have a respectable vo2.
