Been granted an exemption to leave Australia and move to the U.S tomorrow so I can finally be with my fiancé after 7 months of being on different continents let’s gooooooooooooo
So I’ve been mainly focusing on learning sound design atm but hopefully can continue to do a rotoscope here and there when everything stops being so crazy
Tried a sound replacement for the Lebel Model 1886 from BF1 using a metal vice, chain link, Swiss Army knife and a few other random tools from the shed
So I'm in quarantine with my phone and a laptop from the Cretaceous period so I thought I'd try make a short guide on how i rotoscope so if anyone is super bored stuck at home they can give it a shot. Also wow I hate the sound of my own voice.
@gt14199 I appreciate that mate 🙂 honestly I just use a keyboard and mouse (probably to my detriment) so I’d definitely give it a shot on a tablet, it’s so simple you can do it on anything so just go with whatever’s the most comfortable 👍
@gt14199 So that one is real simple so around ~15 hours but something like the Witcher one from start to finish I’m memory serves probably ballpark around ~100+ hours, the detail, frame rate and length can all add dozens of hours so you gotta be carful haha
@gt14199 Thanks mate! Yeah so every frame is traced from scratch so every frame will have little variances, tho I’m sure there’s way to use portions of previous frames that don’t move to much, and yeah it’s REAL time consuming haha
