Nobody who knows anything about energy has ever claimed more North Sea drilling would lower bills. But it would:
Improve security of supply (esp of gas, all of which lands on UK shores).
Help balance of payments
Add to government revenues
Create/preserve well-paid skilled jobs
Reduce UK carbon footprint since, eg, gas brought onshore from North Sea generates 3 times fewer emissions than LNG
Given even E Miliband admits we’ll be using oil and gas for the foreseeable future, why not develop a bit more of it ourselves rather than importing more and more of both.

Today 2 stories in the papers reveal horrific rapes carried out by Afghan migrants - one in London, one on a train to Kent

Last week a story broke about a migrant raping an elderly man behind a church.

Sorry, these men are feral creatures.

Day after day the victims list grows. Stabbings. Terror plots. Sex attacks. Criminal underworld.

Lives and communities destroyed forever. The safety of every woman and girl mortgaged for a slice of synthetic virtue.

Meanwhile traffickers sell their services using videos of drunk, scantily clad girls. Would be invaders caught on tape saying aloud they are coming for sex. Illegal Rape Tourism being played out as asylum.

And the Government wants to spread such people around the country 'fairly' in private houses in all towns and villages where there will be no restrictions on their movements. Nobody monitoring them. Free to do exactly what they have been raised to do: View Western Women as animals they have a right to rape.

But you can secretly implant uncontrolled violent men around the place to brutalise young girls when we all know the cultural trends.
